The 100+ Women Who Care Red Deer are a group of AMAZING women who get together to better their community. As their Facebook page states “Members agree to write a cheque at each meeting for $100. At each meeting local charities are nominated by members to receive funds from the group. Three nominated charities are selected at each meeting and the nominating member makes a “pitch” for their nominee. After brief presentations on each nominee, members vote and funds are presented to the charity with the most votes.”
