The Hideout Supports CASASC

The Hideout raises funds to support the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC).

From Wednesday, February 22 to Sunday, February 26, The Hideout raised funds as part of a Pink Shirt Day campaign, a day to support bullying awareness and prevention initiatives, and choose to share those funds with CASASC. A portion of sales from special pink food and drink items sold during this time were collected in support of Anti Bullying programs.

CASASCs school aged prevention education programs, iRespect US 1 and iRespect US 2 provide middle school students with the knowledge and skills to have healthy peer relationships, positively impact their schools and contribute to safe spaces without bullying behaviour. A free bullying prevention and education activity resource is available all year for schools and communities.

The donation of $316 was presented by The Hideout on March 27. Executive Director, Patricia, Fundraising and Event Planner, Lara, and our office mascot and friendly greeter, Oscar, accepted the donation on behalf of CASASC.

Thank you so much for your support.
