To all who come here… Believe.

Today is my birthday…this appointment is my gift to myself.

The more I face my fears the more free I become. I know one day I will be through this.

Gradually you feel whole again. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other.

I have found an inner strength I never know I had. I can survive this – you can too.

It is never your fault. Don’t let someone else define your life.

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.

Sexual Assault Education Programs

The Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre is the leader when it comes to educating and providing information to people (regardless of age or gender) concerning sexual assault. As a dedicated non-profit agency, our staff believes strongly that offering proactive programs is one way we are making a difference in helping to build healthier communities.

Our education programs are tailored to meet the needs of the people in our communities. At CASASC, we take pride in providing custom-designed education programs especially for the audience we are trying to reach. Our in-school education programs cover all age groups, from kindergarten to post-secondary. We also offer programs focused towards professional development for volunteer groups, employee groups and the general public as well as targeted professional development opportunities for staff and volunteers in contact with those who have been sexual assaulted.

Through years of experience helping those who have been sexually assaulted, we believe the following statement to be true:

Education + Knowledge = Empowerment

All services are available at no cost.

A key goal of the CASASC Education Program is to raise public awareness of the prevalence of sexual harassment and sexual assault in our society while encouraging a sense of community responsibility.
