CASASC at the Market at Red Deer

On Saturday May 27th the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre attended the Market at Red Deer! The booth was graciously donated by Volunteer Central for the day. Weather was sunny and the volunteers helped raffle off a handcrafted wooden chair donated by John Dickins. All proceeds of the raffle went to helping the “No Secrets” program. As the crowds flowed by, people stopped to ¬†participate in the I Respect Campaign by getting Made To Respect shirts as well as making I Respect signs. The Centre also raised awareness on Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Victims and Survivors of Crime Week and Respect Day! Overall the event was well attended and had many participators!
